Role Description:

As a Constellation Leader, you will spearhead your local chapter, organizing and leading events that embody The Nova’s commitment to conscious leadership and fostering genuine connections. Your role is pivotal in shaping a community where collaboration and collective growth are paramount, challenging traditional silos to build an ecosystem together where every member contributes to something bigger.

Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Build a vibrant, inclusive environment that fosters active participation and deepens members’ sense of belonging. Embrace our ethos of collaboration and “doing it with others” to ensure that we all rise together.
• Event Management: Plan and execute impactful events that cater to diverse interests while championing The Nova’s mission of breaking barriers and having more fun together.
• Network Expansion: Utilize your extensive network to boost community engagement and facilitate the chapter’s growth, creating opportunities for members to step out of their own silos and connect authentically.
• Strategic Leadership: Implement conscious leadership principles, guiding chapter activities to mirror The Nova’s core values of authenticity, holistic excellence, and equity.
• Collaborative Support: Engage with The Nova’s broader leadership team, leveraging collective resources and support to ensure your chapter’s success and foster a spirit of collaboration.

Compensation:

Earn a substantial percentage of revenue from each member who joins your chapter, recognizing your pivotal role in our community’s growth and success. As Constellation Leader, you will manage event profitability, venue logistics, and ticket pricing to maximize engagement and impact.

Time Commitment:

Plan and execute a minimum of 2 events per month, with an expected time commitment of 3-5 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have existing venue relationships aligned with The Nova’s values.

Ideal Candidate:

• Community Building Expertise: Proven experience in community building, with a track record of creating and nurturing vibrant, inclusive communities. Experience organizing and leading events that foster a sense of belonging is essential.
• Event Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage events, including logistics, budgeting, and coordination with venues and vendors. Ability to curate engaging content and activities that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Safe Space Creation: Adept at creating environments where open communication and genuine connections can flourish. Experience facilitating discussions and activities that promote trust, inclusivity, and empowerment.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset. Comfortable leading a team, working closely with other leaders, and leveraging collective resources to achieve common goals.
• Adaptability and Innovation: Excited to grow within The Nova’s dynamic ecosystem. Adaptable and open to new approaches, thriving in a setting that values personal and professional development.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey The Nova’s mission and values effectively. Engage with members, potential members, and external partners in a compelling and authentic manner.
