About your host

Melissa Bauknight spent fifteen years in corporate sales, consistently in the top one to ten percent, and nine more years with Beautycounter and eight coaching women through some of the most significant transitions of their professional lives. She was good at all of it.

And somewhere in the middle of building a career that looked exactly right from the outside, she kept running into the same wall. The rooms available to women like her asked her to choose. Ambition or depth. Strategy or soul. The professional version of herself or the whole one.

She left to build the room she could never find. Nova now holds active communities in nine U.S. cities and a global membership of women who are evolved, experienced, and redefining what success looks like on their own terms.
