Connect + Elevate is Nova’s new signature monthly gathering in Boulder, created for women and non-binary seasoned professionals who want meaningful connection, thoughtful conversation, and growth that actually feels aligned with their lives. Not just more contacts but people who understand why your values matter as much as your vision.

This isn’t about filling a calendar or working a room. It’s about spending your time with people who make you think differently, feel more like yourself, and leave you feeling more seen than when you arrived.

THE EXPERIENCE

CONNECT
We begin with guided connection around our theme of the month, which is vision with intention for January — not icebreakers, but intentional dialogue that moves purposefully into real conversation. The structure is designed to help you meet people you are so excited to know, without forcing performance or small talk.

You’ll leave this portion with a sense of who’s in the room and who you want to continue the conversation with outside the room.

ELEVATE
In the second half, a Nova member leads a short, live workshop rooted in lived experience. These sessions are practical, relevant, and grounded — offering insight you can apply immediately.

Topics vary month to month and include leadership, money, visibility, communication, wellbeing, or sustainable success. Each workshop is designed to elevate both the member leading and the collective intelligence of the room.

You’ll leave with new connections, feeling expanded, and a feeling that you’ve finally found the room you’ve been looking for.

APRIL THEME: EQUITY IN ACTION

Equity begins with awareness and grows through commitment. This month is about looking at how fairness and inclusion take shape in our daily choices — in our workplaces, partnerships, and communities. Together, we’ll explore how to create conditions where everyone’s voice matters and every contribution counts.

The Magic of the In Between: What Happens When We Get Brave Enough to Stay

The in-between is uncomfortable. Most of us will do anything to get through it faster. But what if the answers we’re looking for are actually inside of it? Jessie May shares her own journey through the unknown and the unexpected magic that unfolded when she got brave enough to stay with it. This talk is for any woman who finds herself in a place she didn’t plan for and can’t yet see what comes next.

Jessie May is the creator of Alchemy and Ash, a space for women moving through midlife and the identity shifts that come with it.

When who you’ve been is falling away but who you’re becoming hasn’t taken shape yet. When your body, relationships, career, and purpose are shifting and you’re left with more questions than answers. When you feel alone in it, maybe even ashamed of it, and you don’t know who to tell. Alchemy and Ash is a space to feel seen and held in your experience with other women who get it.

Jessie May created Alchemy and Ash from the inside of her own midlife unraveling. Sparked by perimenopause in her late 30s, everything she thought she knew started to come up for question. She grieved the closing of doors she thought would always be open, and the letting go of identities she had spent years building. The ground had gone out from under her.

The void is hard to sit in. She knows that. But she also knows that when we’re brave enough to stay with the discomfort, the truth of who we’re becoming starts to come into focus.

And you don’t have to do it alone. Alchemy and Ash exists so we can find each other in the in-between and walk through the undoing and the becoming together.
